The EU wants to impose tariffs of more than 50% on Harley-Davidson motorcycles. From June 1, 2021, Harley-Davidson will be obliged to pay customs duties of 56% for each motorcycle sold in the European Union.
If we do nothing about it, hundreds of workers, concessionaires and auxiliary companies will be left without work. This decision of course also affects you as a customer, because you will be left without brand support, without motorcycle distribution, without after-sales services and spare parts through the official distribution channel, you can also play an important role to be able to change it.
We perceive this situation as very unfair competition. Currently European motorcycle manufacturers such as BMW, KTM and Ducati exported their motorcycles to the US at a tariff of between 1,2% and 2,4%; Harley-Davidson will be subject to a 56% tariff for Europe.
Therefore, we would like to collect as many signatures as possible from all motorcycle enthusiasts and fans of our brand, to promote and demand fair and equitable tariffs and protect your interests as a customer and consumer.
